Philip Kroskin, Managing Partner

Prior to forming the Bos Group, Philip worked as an executive of the Mills Corporation for 7 years. In this capacity, he was involved in underwriting and negotiating over $600 million in construction loans and corporate financing including the financing of Madrid Xanadu in Spain. During his tenure, Philip acted as the Director of Development for the 1.5 million square foot Arundel Mill’s mall outside of Baltimore, Maryland. Among other duties, this project required Philip to work closely with State and County officials to create a tax increment financing district (TIF) and facilitate the underwriting and subsequent sale of $28 million in public bonds, the largest issue at that time in the state of Maryland. Before joining the Mills Corporation, Philip worked with Arthur Anderson as a Senior Real Estate Analyst. Philip received his Masters in Urban and Environmental Planning and Bachelors in City Planning both from the University of Virginia. He is a Full Member of the Urban Land Institute and is a member of the ULI - Commercial and Retail Development Council - Silver Flight.

Mark Lichtman, Managing Partner

Mark worked with the Mills Corporation for 7 years as an executive and became Vice President of real estate and leasing before the end of his tenure. At the Mills Corporation, Mark’s responsibilities included developing, implementing, and managing the anchor leasing strategy for the entire operating center portfolio consisting of 12 million square feet. Mark’s expertise is exemplified by his understanding of identifying and nurturing retail trends and tenants. Examples of Mark’s work include the introduction of Bass-Pro Shops Outdoor World to the national arena and strategic rollout plans for the Rainforest Café, Alabama Grill, and the first Rubbermaid mall store. Before founding the Bos Group, Mark acted as principal of M.A.L. & Associates where he served as a consultant for Forest City Enterprises, leading the leasing and marketing of the Grand Salt Lake Mall. With M.A.L. and Associates, Mark continued to work with the nation’s top retailers including Bass Pro Shops, bringing his total to 11 Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World stores negotiated and opened.
